Welcome to Institutional Research

The mission of Institutional Research is to provide data, research, and analysis to decision-makers at all levels so that appropriate actions may be taken to help students learn.

This site will help address many commonly asked questions, from enrollment numbers to the number of students living on campus to the number of music majors.  And this is just the tip of the iceberg. If there is information you would like to see posted, please be sure to let us know by using the email link below.

Many of our publications are now web-based, providing more data to larger and more varied audiences. Most of these publications are provided as a single file; therefore, each document may take several seconds to load. The majority of documents will be in .pdf format.  If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view .pdf files, you may download it for free by going to the Adobe Acrobat website.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Common Data Set for annual publication
  • Prepare the Demographics books for publication each semester
  • Prepare the UCO Factbook for annual publication
  • Maintain UCO peer groups lists
  • Maintain the UCO program inventory
  • Prepare reports for use in the Self-Study for Continuous Improvement (SSCI) process
  • Respond to surveys/questionnaires from external agencies and institutions, including those required by the State and Federal governments
