The Central Undergraduate Research Board (CURB) was created by the Office of High-Impact Practices (OHIP) and the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Team (URCAT) to promote awareness about undergraduate research, the RCSA Grant Program, and serve as peer mentors. Members of CURB reflect the variety of backgrounds, disciplines and diversity of campus. Members believe in the importance of participating in research, creative, and scholarly activities and understand the transformative benefits that these activities have in gaining knowledge in academic disciplines and for future careers.
By promoting undergraduate research at UCO, all students on campus, from any background and academic field will see that research, creative, and scholarly activities are feasible for everyone. Through promotion, UCO students will have the opportunity to gain deeper knowledge and appreciation of their education and field of study.
