URA Proposal Evaluation Criteria

Completed applications will be reviewed by Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Team (URCAT), the Research Advisory Council (RAC), and the Assistant VP of Global and Cultural Competencies using a double-review process similar to the one used for the RCSA Grant Program. If there is a conflict of interest for a specific proposal, the member of URCAT or the RAC must recuse himself/herself from the review process of that proposal.

Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria established by members of the URCAT and RAC. These include:

  1. Clear Description
  2. Originality and Creativity
  3. Feasibility
  4. Methodology
  5. Significance and Value
  6. A Detailed Budget and a Clear Justification of Expenditures

We reserve the right to send proposals out for external review.
