Spring 2018 Tutoring Positions:

Applications for positions at Tutoring Central operate on a pool-basis. We collect qualified applications throughout the academic year and call applicants for interviews when positions become open. If you have submitted an application and have questions about availability or the position, please contact tc@uco.edu

We currently have an opening for Graduate Assistant/Tutor.  We're seeking a graduate student proficient in one or more of the following subject areas: English/Writing, Science or Math. Tutor will provide assistance to students regarding class assignments. Tutor will maintain schedule for appointments and provide session information and reports as needed to tutoring supervisor. Tutor will be responsible for assigned subject related program, tasks, and other duties as part of the TC staff. 20 to 25 hours preferred.

English/Writing Tutor

English/Writing tutors provide assistance to students regarding any aspect of writing assignments, including brainstorming, organization, and grammar. Tutors help with assignments at all stages, from planning to polishing, and work with both undergraduate and graduate students in all subjects at UCO.

Math Tutor
Math tutors provide assistance to students regarding math assignments and questions for math courses at UCO.

Biology/Chemistry Tutor
Science tutors provide assistance to students regarding assignments and questions related to lower-level Biology and Chemistry courses at UCO.

Statistics
Statistics tutors provide assistance to students regarding assignments and questions related to statistical analysis and computation courses at UCO (preference given to applicants skilled in Psychological Statistics).

Supplemental Instruction Leader
SI Leaders are chosen by the professor for historically difficult courses at UCO. If any of your professors are interested in hiring you as an SI, they should discuss it with you, submit a request form, and have you apply online.
