Full-Time Staff

I’ve been selected for a full-time staff position, now what?

  1. After speaking with the Talent Acquisition Team and successfully passing a background check, you will receive an email from jobs@uco.edu that will contain your job offer letter and details on paperwork required to be completed on or before your first day of employment
  2. The email will contain details on where to be and at what time in order to attend New Employee Training (NET). NET will be a full day introduction to working life at UCO, and you will be given assistance completing paperwork and making your benefits selections (if applicable). You will also have lunch with your supervisor on this day.
  3. If you do not receive this email or are unable to attend NET please contact the Talent Acquisition Team at jobs@uco.edu 

New Employee Forms and Instructions

All new Full-Time Employees should complete the following forms:

  • The Payroll Packet and Benefits Packet should be brought to New Employee Training on the first day of employment.
  • Please note, employees who are in Exempt status will be paid on a Monthly basis and those in Non-Exempt status will be paid on a Bi-Weekly basis.
  • If you have any questions about completing the Payroll Packet, please contact the Human Resources Office Manager (Jerri Wickett) at hr@uco.edu.  If you have questions about completing the Benefits Packet, please contact the Benefits Manager (Lee Camargo-Quinn) at lcamargoquinn@uco.edu
  • Campus Maps:  Buildings, Transportation & Parking, Weather & Safety, and Wellness.

Payroll Packet - On the first day of New Employee Training, Payroll Packets will be collected by the HR Office Manager. If all the forms are not completed at this time, you must visit the Human Resources (HR) Front Office (Lillard Admin Building Room 204) before you can begin your new role.  These following forms are required:

Benefits Packet – Benefits* will be discussed on the first day of New Employee Training.  The following forms should be completed and submitted to the Human Resources office within the first 2 days of employment.

Retirement - (Complete appropriate form):

  • Oklahoma Teachers' Retirement System

Benefits are effective the first day of the month following the new employee's start date.
