The Process Improvement Center works with departments across campus to keep our continuous improvement efforts moving forward as we manage a growing student body with a tighter budgets and limited resources.
Process Improvement has been a part of UCO Culture since 2001. Our staff have given presentations at national conferences and received awards from NACUBO (2007, 2010, and 2011) and SACUBO (2007). The use of Lean techniques has proven effective in illustrating improvement in processes when responding to accreditation teams and governing boards.
Lean principles are applied to UCO campus processes in an effort to seek efficient and effective solutions to daily challenges. Most often the Lean project is led by the Process Improvement staff and at other times it is led by individuals within a department.Check out two of our Lean projects:
