Important Dates

UCO Nursing Ceremony: will be held Saturday, May 5th, at 4:30 in the Nigh University Center Ballrooms

CFAD Reception: will be held Saturday, May 5th following the Graduation Ceremony—3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Melton Gallery

CEPS Reception for Undergraduate students (except Psychology undergraduates): will be held Friday, May 4th, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Nigh University Center, Fourth Floor, Room 421 (Will Rogers Room)

CEPS Reception for Master's and Psychology undergraduate students: will be held Friday, May 4th, from 5:00-6:00 PM in the Nigh University Center, Fourth Floor, Room 421 (Will Rogers Room)

CLA Reception for Master's students: will be held in LAR 211 on the second floor on Friday, May 4th from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm prior to the 7:00 pm ceremony; 

CLA Reception for Undergraduate students: will be held in the LAR Building First Floor Foyer on Saturday, May 5th from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm prior to the 6:00 pm ceremony.  

CMS Reception: will be held Saturday, May 5th, from 11:30-1:00 p.m. in the Howell Hall Atrium

STLR Cording Ceremony is: will be held Friday, May 4th, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Nigh University Center, Constitution Hall, reception following


Faculty marshals and staff volunteers are divided into three teams to address the different areas of need at commencement. Regalia is not required. Business attire is suggested.

Team A: Guide students to their seats and across the platform; perform final checks of hoods and name cards.
Team B: Direct guests and assist with traffic flow in interior doors, foyers, stairwells, and upper deck.
Team C: Meet and guide disabled and elderly guests to special seating on the floor.
