UCO encourages each student to develop a global perspective. The relationship between leadership capacity and a thorough international perspective is well documented. During each academic year, Leadership Central plans several 3 hour study tour for students pursuing the leadership minor or for upper division credit. These study tours balance an understanding of the local culture and history while also combining service learning through local service projects and initiatives.

Upcoming Study Tours for 2017

Spring Break - Guatemala - Partner with Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing. Trip is March 11th through March 19th. Approximate cost will be $2500.00.

Summer Break - Uganda - Partner with Pros for Africa to support their educational and literacy efforts in the communities of Gulu and Atiak. Trip is May 6th through May 21st. Approximate cost will be $2500.00
