Within UCO’s setting of transformative learning lies a vibrant labyrinth presence. And now at UCO we offer an opportunity to experience the labyrinth as a path of creativity. Whether you are experienced in labyrinth walking as meditation/reflection or new to the labyrinth, join us on the path. The workshop will include an introduction to the history and present day use of labyrinths. We then move into opportunities for stirring one’s own creative energies and ways for bringing others into this safe space for creative imagination. Walking in a new light … rekindling the creative flame … finding your own rhythm in the circle. The labyrinth calls us to creativity needed for today’s world.

Labyrinth Facilitator Training

The workshop led by The Rev. Kay Mutert on May 18 at UCO is a qualifying workshop for the more in-depth Veriditas Facilitator Training on May 19-20, 2018, at UCO. To register for Facilitator Training, visit the Veriditas website.

The goal of Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator Training is to prepare people to introduce others to the labyrinth in an articulate, professional and effective way. The training addresses meditative walking in a variety of settings, with a variety of different populations. It is focused primarily on the Eleven Circuit Medieval Labyrinth but is inclusive of all forms.

Walking the labyrinth is being embraced as a spiritual practice throughout the Western world mostly because of Veriditas trained facilitators. The Veriditas Facilitator Training -- which began in 1997 -- remains the most rigorous and comprehensive training offered.
