The Oklahoma Center for Arts Education (OCAE) is a division of the College of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). The mission of OCAE is to assure excellence in arts education through professional development, collaboration and research.

UCO Dance Presents - Contemporary Modern Master Class -- February 17, 2018

UCO Wind and Percussion Shadow DayJoin the UCO Department of Dance for a Master Class with James Gregg and Rauf "Rubberlegz" Yasit focusing on unique contemporary modern and partnering techniques.  Class is $15 at the door. Open to the public, ages 13 and up. Master Class will be held February 17 at 10:30 am in the UCO Health and Physical Education Building, Room 204. For more information, email

The 2018 Kuleshov International Piano Competition -- February 22-25, 2018

The 2018 Kuleshov International Piano CompetitionThe Kuleshov International Piano Competition is a two-tier competition featuring high school and collegiate students from around the world in a juried competiton with cash prizes.  Jurors and guest artists for 2018 include: Valery Kuleshov, Petronel Malan, Eugene Skovorodnikov, Steve Betts, and Katheryn Woodward.

UCO High School Art Day -- March 3, 2018

UCO Vocal Arts Shadow DayWe provide the materials and provide the creativity! Join us for a day of hands-on workshops which include mixed media, ceramics, stop motion animation, abstract drawing, metalsmithing and more! Optional campus tour, exclusive parent workshops, complimentary lunch are also included in this FREE event for high school students (grades 10-12). Seats are limited. UCO Theatre Arts Spring Drama Day -- March 31, 2018

UCO Vocal Arts Shadow DayJoin the UCO Department of Theatre Arts for an incredible day of drama!  Attend workshops in performance, design tech, or theatre education; take a guided tour of the UCO campus; eat a delicious pizza dinner with faculty and current theatre arts majors followed by complimentary admission to the UCO performance of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap that evening.  After the show, stick around for an exclusive Q/A talk back session with the cast, crew and director!
