Scholarships are provided each year based on academic merit or financial need, and are generously given through the philanthropic investment of alumni and friends of the College of Mathematics and Science.

As we began the scholarship application process to award private financial assistance for the 2018/2019 school year, we look forward to increasing the dollars given by our alumni and friends in support of the future professionals working in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines.

To our donors, please accept our sincere gratitude for your investment in our students.

To our current students, good luck on your continued studies and best wishes as you apply for financial assistance.

For additional information or questions, please contact Ms. Donna Bass, Project Coordinator, at or the CMS Dean's Office, HOH 208.

Special Scholarship: Heisenberg Uncertainty Fund Scholarship

The CMS Heisenberg Uncertainty Fund was created to help students studying mathematics and science overcome the constraints of financial need through flexible student financial aid. Students may apply for emergency aid for expenses not funded by traditional student support. Tuition and fees are not covered through this scholarship. The deadline for applications each semester is one week prior to the start of the semester, however, under extenuating circumstances, applications may be accepted and reviewed after the deadline. Students may apply for funds no more than one time per semester. Amounts of awards will vary based on demonstrated need and the number of awards granted each semester is subject to the availability of funds.
