EP-Mechanical Engineering Program Educational Objectives
Within a few years of graduation, our graduates will be able to:
1) Practice as an engineer in mechanical or related fields.
2) Assume positions of leadership and greater responsibility through teamwork within an organization.
3) Sustain adherence to professional development and post graduate continuing education.
What is Mechanical Engineering?
Mechanical engineers use theoretical, experimental, and computational skills to design, manufacture, test, and maintain thermal, fluid, and mechanical machines. Mechanical engineering students master the fundamental principles of mathematics, chemistry, and physics as a foundation for study in the three core areas of mechanical engineering: solid mechanics and materials, thermal and fluid, dynamics and controls.
