Forensic Science Curriculum Training

The Forensic Science Institute (FSI) at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) is excited to offer curriculum training in forensic science.  The training is conducted by FSI faculty and focuses on the correct execution and application of forensic science techniques. Forensic science disciplines included in the training are crime scene processing, latent print collection, fingerprint comparison techniques, blood stain pattern analysis, forensic chemistry, DNA analysis, digital forensics, and forensic anthropology. Participants will receive a comprehensive curriculum that includes lesson plans, lectures, and guidelines for hands-on activities.

Training Details

The curriculum training is scheduled for August 2-4, 2017 and is limited to 15 participants.  High school and middle school teachers are encouraged to apply.  If you are interested please fill-out the application and email to cporterfield@uco.edu.
