Old North on the UCO Campus

UCO Experiences Exciting Developments on Campus

Old North is finally open and students, faculty, staff and friends are now walking the halls of this beautiful building that has been closed for nearly 16 years. With four general-use classrooms, faculty offices and meeting spaces, Old North has been restored to its former glory as the first building constructed for higher education.

Let’s also not forget the improvements to Mitchell Hall. The Build Mitchell Hall campaign will fund an expansion that nearly doubles the size of the historic venue. Plans include two new rehearsal halls for theatre and dance students, a comprehensive costume shop, makeup lab, dressing rooms with showers, lounge areas for students and performers, a gallery space, a revitalized green room, a courtyard and an outdoor study area.

Also, the university won the bid to host the prestigious 32nd annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), April 4-7, 2018.

Without you, these improvements and opportunities would not be possible. With the help of our donors we are able to provide UCO students with a flourishing campus, as well as numerous scholarship opportunities. Please read through the site to see how you can make a difference for students at UCO!
