Welcome to the School of Criminal Justice!

The University of Central Oklahoma established its criminal justice program in 1974, and for over four decades, graduates have been providing leadership in the field of criminal justice.  In the fall of 2010, a separate School of Criminal Justice was created with the continuing objective of providing criminal justice students a quality education, allowing them to transform academic excellence into professional success.

With twenty full and part-time faculty members, the School of Criminal Justice currently offers three undergraduate degree programs (general, police, and corrections) and two graduate degree programs (Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Management and Administration, and Masters of Arts in Crime and Intelligence Analysis).

The undergraduate programs prepare students for a wide range of careers in the criminal justice field.  Our Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Management and Administration is designed to provide students with specialized knowledge and skills needed for career advancement.  The Masters of Crime and Intelligence Analysis prepares our graduates to excel in the every growing world of information gathering and analysis.

The College of Liberal Arts and the School of Criminal Justice have developed international partnerships to provide students with unique educational experiences.  The faculty and our external advisory board meet regularly to explore current needs in the field and expand our curriculum to meet those needs.  As a result, new undergraduate and graduate opportunities continue to appear on the horizon.  We invite you to take advantage of the opportunities available through our curriculum, internships, and the College of Liberal Arts study abroad programs.
