Call For Entries: The Woody Gaddis Gallery, on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma, seeks entries for the juried photographic exhibition entitled Bending the Truth. In a time of reality shows, fake news, virtual reality headsets, & idealized versions of our selves through curated social media posts, our perception of what is true is constantly challenged. We are looking for photographic works that try to convince us or challenge what we believe to be true. Any interpretation of this concept captured or created through the visual medium of photography is open for submission
Up to three submissions of photographic work – including traditional darkroom, digital, alternative process, and manipulated images. Images should be resolution 72 ppi and 1280 pixels on the longest side; Flattened JPG files; 8 bit files; RGB or Grayscale; JPG compression quality 8 or medium. Files should be titled “LastName_FirstName_01Title.jpg”. Submissions must be submitted to Dropbox by Sunday, July 16th at 11:59 pm. Submit files through the following link: Dropbox.com
Artists retain full rights to their work. By submitting to the Woody Gaddis Gallery, artists grant the use of selected images for the purpose of marketing the gallery and subsequent display on its website.
