Dr. Elizabeth Overman


Elizabeth Overman teaches public policy, nonprofit management, and program evaluation, and minority policy and politics, among other courses, in the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Central Oklahoma.  She also is the faculty advisor for Phi Alpha Alpha, past president of the American Association of University Professors, and was elected to serve on the UCO Faculty Senate Executive Committee.  She is the vice president of the Oklahoma Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty.   
As a member of the American Society for Public Administration, she has been recognized by past president Dr. Susan Gooden with a Chester A. Newland award.   She works to promote diversity in the department, on campus, and in the larger society.
