International Festival

In 1975, members of UCO’s international community were seeking a way for all of their international students from countries around the world to share their culture with students on campus and thus, the International Festival began. In 2015, the festival outgrew all of their venues on campus and brought the festival to Downtown in hopes of trying to attract more people and get more international groups in the community involved.

Since 2015, the International Student Council along with various cultural groups from around the community and the world to come together and celebrate International Education Week by hosting the International Festival in Downtown Edmond.

The 2018 Edmond International Festival will take place on Saturday, November 17th from 11:00-2:00 PM at the Edmond Festival Marketplace. (Inclement Weather: Nigh University Center Ballrooms)

During the festival, 16 different countries and regions will showcase their cultures through display booths, live performances, and authentic and delicious cuisines.

There is no cost to attend the International Festival and all are welcome to come and enjoy the cultures represented in Oklahoma.
