The Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation (OCTP) selected the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson to develop and administer the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators™ (CEOE™), which include the Oklahoma General Education Test™ (OGET™), the Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination™ (OPTE™), and the Oklahoma Subject Area Tests™ (OSAT™). The purpose of the CEOE program is to help ensure that all candidates seeking certification in Oklahoma have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job of an entry-level educator in Oklahoma public schools. UCO offers the computer-based CEOE.
To register, visit CEOE. You will need to create an account, pay for the exam, and then select an available day and time.
The student must bring to the test center one current, government-issued ID printed in English, in the name in which he or she registered, bearing his or her photograph and signature.
For non-UCO students, bring money for the visitor parking lot. The kiosks accept credit/debit cards. If you bring cash, please be aware the machines do not distribute change.
Check in time will begin 20 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam. Late arrivals will not be admitted.
Prohibited Items: This list includes, but is not limited to, cell phones, purses, hats, watches, fitbits, glasses with built in electronics, or any other electronic devices. If the student arrives at the testing center possessing any of these items, they must present a secondary ID (student ID, club membership card, etc.) bearing the name in which they registered, in addition to their government-issued ID, in order to store them in a locker provided by the testing center.
