On April 20, 2015 the University of Central Oklahoma Student Congress elected the Student Congress Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary for 2015-2016 academic school year.
Dean's major is Political Science and he is a member of PLC, Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Treasurer and UCOSA Chair. He wants to gain his undergraduate in Political Science and then attend law school at the University of Oklahoma. He joined UCOSA so he could make a positive impact on campus. His favorite quote is "Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!" - Dr. Seuss. His hobbies include running, playing video games, playing basketball and coaching little league basketball and baseball. A fun fact about him is he loves to two-step.
Kalina is a Strategic Communications and Organizational Communication major. Her involvement on campus includes PLC and she serve's as the Outreach Chair for their Executive team alongside UCOSA. Her plans after college are to further my career in Communication such as a PR Representative for a company and hopefully do that in a larger city. She also hope to find a job that allows her to travel. She was very involved in Student Council in High School and wanted to find an organization that resembled it and allowed me to get plugged into our school as deeply as I could. Kalina's favorite quote is ‘The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page’. A fun fact about her is that she was born and raised in Varna, Bulgaria and English is her second language.
Mario is a Strategic Communications with a minor in Leadership. His involvement includes UCOSA, Pi Kappa Alpha, PLC, BronchoThon and STUMO. He is still undecided on what I want to do after college, but I've considered working in the Human Resource or Public Relations area for a major company. As a student at UCO, he knows we as a university can always work on improving and he felt UCOSA was a way for me get involved and see that development. Mario enjoys always being around other people and make new friendships at UCO so if you see him around campus make sure to say hi!
