Why was BronchoThon created? BronchoThon was created in 2016 to engage the Broncho community in generating awareness and financial support for the Oklahoma Children's Hospital Foundation. The CHF is the only non-profit organization in Oklahoma whose sole focus is the advancement of pediatric research and education programs to improve the health of children. Since their creation in 1983, Children’s Hospital Foundation has raised and leveraged matching funds to create more than $109 million for pediatric research and education programs.
How does BronchoThon work? Throughout the academic year, students, faculty, and staff will participate in fundraising and awareness events. The finale event, BronchoThon, will be held in April. The 8-hour marathon will include musical entertainment, student-led activities, refreshments, and a heavy dose of *FUN*. We look forward to establishing a great tradition here at Central!
