The Interfraternity Council is the governing body for all North-American Interfraternity Conference chapters on the University of Central Oklahoma campus. This includes Acacia, Alpha Sigma Phi, Delta Chi, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Nu, Sigma Tau Gamma, and Tau Kappa Epsilon. Each chapter promotes brotherhood, friendship, service, and academics.
Membership in a fraternity is a lifelong commitment and an experience that will not only shape your college years but connect you to a network of brothers across the world! In addition, fraternity membership allows you to be more involved in the Edmond community while you are a student. The recruitment process, and the Greek system, may seem a bit confusing at first, but this guide should help you survive and find a group where you can thrive.
Informal Recruitment will take place throughout the year, especially April through August. Formal Recruitment will be held August 26-30, 2018 with the first day occurring in the Nigh University Center. Registration for Fall Recruitment will open on May 1, 2018 and can be submitted HERE. Participants are required to pay a nonrefundable $20 fee during the registration process.
Chapters are permitted to recruit and admit new members on a continuous basis following their organization's policies and procedures.
