College of Fine Art & Design Open House- 1-3pm; Mitchell Hall Theatre Lobby

The College of Fine Arts & Design (CFAD) welcomes you to visit the newly renovated Mitchell Hall, visit their departments and meet the new Dean! Forensic Science Open House- 1-3pm; Forensic Science Lobby

College of Business Open House- 1-3pm; Business Building Atrium

New and returning students: come learn about our 13 majors, everything from Accounting to Professional Selling, and see if there is a major that would be a good fit for you! We will also have a tour of the Business Building at 2pm so you can see our Student Success Center, which houses the academic advisors and career consultants for business students, as well as the Bloomberg Financial Lab, Professional Selling Lab, and Computer Lab. Be sure to swipe your ID on the way in to be entered to win a $100 Barnes & Noble apparel shopping spree. Fraternity and Sorority Life Fair - 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Whether you know for sure you want to join a fraternity or sorority, or you maybe have thought about thinking about it, come out and get more information.  All twenty of our groups will be around Broncho Lake ready to meet you, give you some information about their organization, and answer any questions. In addition, the Fraternity & Sorority Life Office will have a table set up to answer general questions and get you signed up to go through recruitment.

Volunteer & Part-Time Job Fair- 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

There are SO many part-time jobs and volunteer opportunities in Edmond and Oklahoma City where you can get employed or invested. Come meet some of local employers alongside the best non-profits in the state, and find out more information about how you can give back to your new community or find a job.  In addition, the Volunteer & Service Learning Office will have a table to give out general information and show you how to track your hours on OrgSync while Career Services will be on hand to assist with your part-time job search.

Student Involvement Fair- 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Student Involvement Fair is the biggest fair of the week, where all our student organizations and campus departments are around Broncho Lake ready to meet you and get you involved on campus.  Central has almost 200 unique student organizations, so there is truly something for everyone.  In the event you are looking for a particular club and can't find it, the Student Organizations Office will be on hand to tell you how you can start your own organization.  You definitely don't want to miss this fair!

Interfaith Fair - 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

The purpose of the Interfaith Fair is to provide students information and resources on various religious and spiritual organizations. The fair also offers an opportunity to meet students and/or spiritual leaders, learn about upcoming events including worship services, meetings and other programs.

Friday, August 25

Navigating Your Community- 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Join us on a fun and informative event organized to help new students settling in Edmond. This demonstration is designed to introduce students to the in's and out's of Edmond. In the first part of the session, students will learn important safety tips and dos & don’ts. In the second half of the session, students will learn how to use the Edmond Citylink.
