Welcome Freshmen
Class of 2021

You're invited to Freshman Convocation. Convocation is from the Latin word for “calling together.” UCO calls all freshmen to come together to officially welcome them to our Central community of learners as a member of the 2021 class. Freshman Convocation marks the start of an academic journey. Convocation is designed to convey the significance of their educational endeavor and the commitment of the university to support them in the achievement of this goal.

Freshman Convocation will celebrate who we are, the importance of our newest students, and the start of a new era for our university.

Join your Class of 2021 classmates at the Nigh University Center as we recognize the size and strength or your class as well as the wonderful diversity convening at our metropolitan university home. You will learn about Central traditions, hear from the student body president, share the Central Commitment and get to know each other by taking part in a fun and exciting icebreaker like you've never seen! Following Convocation, there will be a cookout at Broncho Lake.

Parents and guests are welcome to attend this ceremony which is the last event before classes begin.

Helping students learn so that they may become productive, creative, ethical, engaged citizens and leaders.
