i pad with appsThe MBA iPad 1:1 Program first launched at the beginning of the fall 2012 semester. MBA faculty were given a 16G Wi-Fi iPad prior to the semester, to allow them to experiment and discover how they may incorporate them into their classes. At the MBA Orientation, new MBA students were given an iPad to help them with their coursework.

Students and faculty received training from the UCO Information Technology Staff and Technology Resource Center Staff, during the first week of class. UCO IT and TRC also designed and distributed New iPad:  Getting Started at Central manuals for faculty and students. Cornerstone faculty worked with students to answer iPad questions, share useful app ideas, etc.

Students were given digital copy of text and articles for class, which prevented printing and allowed easy access anytime. Students also received a digital subscription to the Wall Street Journal. Students and faculty believe there are many benefits for having the iPads, such as, quick access, lightweight, small, convenience, portability and sharability.
