Condoms on Campus

Condoms are available at several places on the UCO campus. If students are in need of condoms and are unable to purchase them, they may see the following places on campus.

  • OU Physicians Health & Wellness Clinic (inside UCO Wellness Center)

  • Women’s Outreach Center: NUC 113

OU Physicians Health & Wellness Clinic

Open to UCO students, faculty, staff and community members, the OU Physicians Health & Wellness Clinic provides comprehensive primary care, including immunizations, annual wellness exams, sports physicals and the treatment of general illnesses and injuries, among other services. The clinic is located in the UCO Wellness Center at 100 N. University Drive in Edmond. It is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Students, staff and members of the public can make appointments by calling 405-974-3161.

UCO Healthy Campus

UCO Healthy Campus collaborates with stakeholders in the campus community to ensure that our campus is optimally organized to support, strengthen and enhance health, empowering students and employees to achieve, learn, work and serve.

The UCO Healthy Campus Leadership Team consists of students, faculty, staff, university departments and community agencies that are working together to create a healthier campus. The Leadership Team consists of work groups that are based on campus health priority areas including physical activity and nutrition, mental health and well-being, sexual health and environmental health.

Health Promotion

The UCO Health Promotion office aims to empower individuals and communities to change their lifestyle and move toward a state of optimal health. Health promotion efforts include education and training, social marketing, community development, environmental support, and policy development. Women’s Outreach Center

The Women’s Outreach Center celebrates women’s achievements, explores the role plays in human experience, and provides resources for women as they empower themselves and each other.

UCO Peer Health Leaders

The UCO Peer Health Leaders are students who combine their specialized training in health education and wellness with a desire to make a difference on campus. PHLs educate on a wide variety of health topics and campaigns on campus such as: nutrition, physical activity, sexual health, stress management, alcohol/tobacco/drugs, men’s health, women’s health, healthy relationships and body image.

UCO NOW

The National Organization for Women at UCO focuses on equality for all. NOW works to eliminate discrimination and harassment, secure reproductive rights for all women, end violence against women, eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia, and promote equality and justice.

OKC-County Health Department

The OKC-County Health Department offers an array of lower cost services for both men and women including reproductive health, sexual health, and WIC services.

Some services include:

  • Physical exams for both men and women
  • Sexual and reproductive health education and counseling
  • STI & Pregnancy testing
  • Contraception management
  • Services for women, infants, and children
  • And more

Services are available to all individuals, male and female, who request family planning services. A fee will be assessed for services received. Individuals with income at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level will not be assessed a fee.

Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma provides women, men and families reproductive health care services. Some services include:

  • Routine gynecological care
  • Birth control information and methods
  • Pregnancy & STI testing
  • And many more services

2-1-1 Oklahoma

2-1-1 is a free 24-hour telephone number that connects people with community services seven days a week, 365 days a year.

  • Housing & Shelter
  • Counseling & Health Care (including sexual health services)


Text4Baby is a mobile information service designed to promote maternal and child health through text messaging. It is a free service for expecting moms and new mothers. Women who text BABY (or BEBE for Spanish) to 511411 will receive three free text messages a week, through pregnancy and up until their baby’s first birthday.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

The SNAP program enables low-income families to buy nutrition food with Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards. SNAP recipients spend their benefits to buy eligible food in authorized retail food stores.

Infant Crisis Services

The Infant Crisis Services supplies life-sustaining formula and food as well as diapers and clothing for babies and toddlers in times of crisis.
