The Oklahoma Center for Arts Education (OCAE) is a division of the College of Fine Arts and Design at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). The mission of OCAE is to assure excellence in arts education through professional development, collaboration and research.

OMEA Alumni ReceptionThe University of Central Oklahoma School of Music invites UCO Music Alumni attending the OMEA conference in Tulsa to a Come-and-Go Alumni Reception.  Come reconnect with former professors/classmates and meet new Bronchos!  No RSVP required.  We look forward to seeing you there!

UCO Vocal Arts Day -- February 7, 2018

UCO Vocal Arts Shadow DayUCO Vocal Arts Day is a free for all High School students and Univeresity Transfer students. Participants will attend workshops hosted by UCO Voice faculty, attend a performance of the "Sid the Serpent Who Wanted to Sing" children's opera featuring UCO Vocal Arts students, sing with the UCO Concert Chorale, enjoy a pizza lunch with current students and faculty members, take a walking tour of the UCO campus and meet with guest presenters from UCO Housing, Admissions, Financial Aid and Academic Advisement.  Seniors and Transfers can auditon for tuition waivers and scholarship opportunities.  For more information, email ocae@uco.edu.

UCO Wind and Percussion Shadow DaySpend a day in the life a UCO Music Major! Participate in university classes, tour the campus, meet our incredible faculty, and play side-by-side with the UCO Wind Symphony!  Free to high school band students grades 10-12.  For more information, email ocae@uco.edu.

UCO Musical Theatre Shadow Day -- February 15, 2018

UCO Musical Theatre Shadow DaySpend the day in the life of a UCO Musical Theatre Major! Participate in university classes and an exclusive audition workshop, tour the campus, and meet the amazing UCO Musical Theatre faculty and students.  A complimentary dinner and tickets to that evening's performance of Man of La Mancha at historic Mitchell Hall Theatre will round out the day.  Free to high school and transfer students (all levels).
