Financial Obligations

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life understands the financial commitment is an important aspect to consider before making the decision to join an organization. Costs vary greatly across each organization and council, therefore the best way to get an accurate estimate about expenses would be to contact the organization you are interested in. You will find that many students involved in Fraternity and Sorority Life have full or part time jobs, and are able to balance work, school, and their chapter activities with ease.

Each of our chapters are transparent about financial obligations during the recruitment process, not only about specific costs, but also in terms of what your dues will be going towards. Dues may go to pay for the use of chapter facilities, leadership development, and many other educational resources that are made available to members. Additionally, there are often scholarship opportunities through individual organizations to assist or reward members. Please email of call (405)974-2580 for more questions.
